Hours: Monday β Thursday 7:00am β 5:30pm, Friday 7:00am β 12:00pm (45-hour week with overtime built in)

Are you an experienced CNC Programmer looking to work on highly complex aerospace and defence components using some of the industry's most advanced machining technology? We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established precision engineering manufacturer based near Ascot, who are investing heavily in both their people and equipment. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly skilled machine shop producing low-volume, high-precision components using state-of-the-art Mazak Mill-Turn technology. This role would suit an experienced CNC Programmer with strong Mazak Mill-Turn knowledge who enjoys working on technically challenging components within a quality-driven manufacturing environment.

The Role
As a CNC Programmer, your responsibilities will include:
- Programming, setting and operating Mazak Integrex i450H and QT200MSY machines as well as Doosan Vertical and Horizontal machines
- Producing complex precision components for aerospace and defence applications
- Creating and optimising CNC programs using NX CAM software
- Reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings
- Working to extremely tight tolerances and high-quality standards
- Setting tooling and proving out new programs
- Running multiple machines where required
- Supporting continuous improvement within the machine shop
- Working closely with fellow machinists to maximise efficiency and quality
What We're Looking For
Successful candidates will ideally have:
- Minimum 5 years' CNC machining experience
- At least 3 years' experience programming Mazak Mill-Turn machines
- Strong experience with Mazak Integrex and QT machines
- Experience using NX CAM or similar CAM software
- Ability to programme, set and operate independently
- Experience producing high-precision aerospace or defence components
- Excellent attention to detail
- A reliable, organised and proactive approach
