We are recruiting a CNC Miller – Setter/Operator for a high-precision engineering and manufacturing environment based near Ascot, Berkshire. This role sits within a well-established machining department, producing tight-tolerance, high-quality components used in demanding, performance-critical applications. The position suits an experienced CNC Miller who is comfortable setting and operating machines, running multiple jobs, and working to exacting quality standards.

CNC Miller – Setter/Operator Responsibilities
- Set and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision components
- Work from detailed engineering drawings and job packs
- Run multiple machines simultaneously where required
- Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and repeatability
- Carry out basic checks and adjustments to ensure parts meet specification
- Maintain a safe, organised, and efficient working area
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure production targets are met
CNC Miller – Setter/Operator Profile
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a CNC Miller / Setter / Operator
- Confident setting and operating CNC milling machines
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Comfortable managing workload across more than one machine
- Well organised with excellent attention to detail
- Experience with Mazak or Fanuc controls is desirable
