Location / Hours
- Location: Uxbridge
- Hours: Full-time, standard day shift, Monday to Friday, 08:00am to 5:30pm
Key Responsibilities
- Daily Operations: Collaborate with the Production Manager to meet daily tasks and schedules.
- Inspection: Perform brief inspections of fixtured parts to ensure secure attachment and no damage before processing.
- Quantities Verification: Confirm quantities against paperwork and route cards provided.
- Chemical Anodising: Execute the chemical anodising process according to process specifications and customer requirements.
- Quality Assurance: Visually inspect processed articles to ensure a high-quality finish and promptly raise concerns with the Production Manager.
- Post-Processing: Move processed articles to the Inspection section and communicate accordingly.
- Maintenance: Assist with the maintenance of chemical solutions and equipment, including addition of undiluted acids/alkalis and pumping out exhausted rinse tanks weekly.
- Calibration: Ensure all equipment is calibrated and within working parameters as per process specifications.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Complete work in compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental policies, maintaining a safe working environment.
- Training: Occasionally train personnel to ensure uniformity across the Surface Finishing section.
- COSHH Regulations: Adhere to COSHH regulations, using and storing Personal Protective Equipment and hazardous chemicals properly.
- Additional Duties: Undertake reasonable additional duties as instructed by Senior Management.

Experience & Qualifications
- Desirable Experience:
- Metal Finishing and Engineering background.
- Previous experience in a factory environment.
