The role:
We are recruiting multiple Quality Inspectors to support a busy electronics manufacturing environment in Andover. The role focuses on inspection and testing of PCB assemblies using automated equipment and detailed visual inspection techniques. Applicants should confirm their preferred shift when applying.
Shift patterns:
- Earlies – Mon‑Thurs: 06:00‑14:15; Fri: 06:00‑14:00
- Twilight – Mon‑Thurs: 13:00‑23:00 (+15% shift uplift)
Quality Inspector Duties:
- Inspection and testing of electronic assemblies to specification
- Using AOI, Flying Probe Test, X‑Ray and visual inspection methods
- Microscope and camera‑based inspection
- Feeding back quality issues to SMT and soldering teams
- Supporting calibration and basic equipment upkeep
- Working to quality, safety and procedural standards
What we are looking for:
- Previous inspection or quality experience within manufacturing
- Confident with visual inspection and microscopes
- Good attention to detail and computer skills
- PCB or electronics inspection experience is desirable
