Responsibilities:
- Aircraft Maintenance: Conduct line maintenance, preventive maintenance, and system alterations, ensuring compliance with UK CAA regulations.
- System Testing & Repairs: Perform built-in and manual tests, troubleshoot electronic failures, and replace defective parts.
- Customer Support: Engage with airline representatives to document repairs and maintain service records.
- Spare Inventory Management: Assist in tracking spare inventory and ensuring availability of required components.
- Additional Duties: Communicate effectively with management, operate vehicles within airport properties, adhere to health and safety standards, and undertake other duties as required by supervisors.
Requirements:
- Licenses: Must hold an A or B1 or B2 License with a Type Rating on one or more of the following: A380, A350, A330, A320, 787, 777, 767.
- Strong knowledge of electrical mechanics and aircraft systems.
- Background in commercial aviation, military service, or technical school is highly desirable.
