Senior IT Support Engineer needed with strong Windows Server, Networks and IT Infrastructure skills. A chance to join an established IT Managed Services business based in Derby. Working from the Derby office 4 days/week with the option to work 1 day/week from home (WFH).
Must be willing to participate in the team on-call shift rota. Typically one Saturday per month (paid at time and a half):
- Supporting a range of customer IT Infrastructure including: Windows Server, Networking, Switches, Routers, Desktops, Storage, Telephony, Applications, O365, SaaS/PaaS/IaaS, Printers, Linux, Cloud (AWS/Azure).
- Trouble-shooting, diagnosing + resolving IT incidents and more complex IT tickets escalated from 1st/2nd Line Support Engineers.
- Ensuring consistently high standards of customer satisfaction + delivering to agreed service levels (SLAs).
- Supporting IT projects including installations, upgrades + migrations.
- Mentoring/coaching a small team of 1st/2nd Line IT Support Engineers.
Must hold a full UK Driving Licence + have your own vehicle. Experience of working for IT Managed Service Providers (MSPs) or IT Support businesses preferred. An IT Certification would be advantageous: MCSA, MCSE, MCP, CCNA, CCNP, ITIL, ITSM, CompTIA.
