Boomi Architect needed for a 3 Month Rolling Contract based in London (Hybrid). Start ASAP in August/September 2026. Primarily working remotely from home with occasional travel to offices in London and Telford. A chance to work with a leading global IT transformation on a large-scale Government project.
Key skills, experience + tasks will include:
- Boomi Solution Architect with a strong focus on Boomi/iPaaS, API Management, Event Streaming, integration architecture, governance + technical leadership.
- Integration Adoption & Project Onboarding - architecture engagement + onboarding of priority projects onto the strategic integration platform (eg SDEC, S4H, DWIT).
- Production of project-specific integration designs aligned to approved iPaaS, API and Streaming patterns.
- Completion of architecture assurance reviews and design recommendations for onboarding projects.
- Support projects through technical discovery, design and implementation phases.
- Reusable Integration Asset Library: design and document reusable implementation patterns, templates + reference architectures: API integrations, event-driven integration, MFT integrations.
- API Management Capability Enablement: design + implement API product, governance processes, define standards for API design, security, versioning, observability, publication, creation of an API catalogue for iPaaS clients.
- Event Streaming Capability Enablement: design + document event-driven architecture standards, define topic management, event taxonomy + governance approaches.
- Engineering & Supplier Technical Leadership: hands-on architecture support, coaching, technical direction, + support agile delivery teams through sprint planning, design reviews + technical decision-making.
- Platform Operational Readiness: define architecture requirements for Observability, Monitoring, Logging, Alerting, Resilience, Disaster Recovery (DR), DevSecOps integration.
- Integration Governance & Assurance: establish architecture review processes for integrations delivered through iPaaS + develop technical standards, guardrails and compliance criteria + Assurance Reviews.
- Platform Roadmap + Capability Evolution: identify capability gaps across iPaaS, API Management and Event Streaming, support proof-of-concepts and evaluations of emerging integration capabilities.
- Data Sharing Discovery & Solution Design: analyse discovery information to identify data sharing requirements, constraints, dependencies, data flows, integration patterns + design considerations.
