Transmode Network Engineer\\n\\n6 Month Contract\\n\\nLondon (Hybrid)\\n\\n£400/day (Outside IR35)\\n\\nTransmode Network Engineer needed with strong XTM and DWDM networks experience. 6 Month Rolling Contract. Start ASAP in September/October 2025.\\n\\nHybrid Working – with 75% remote working (WFH), plus occasional travel to sites in London (Paddington).\\n\\nWorking with a global IT Consultancy on large-scale network solutions projects for a Telecoms end client.\\n\\nKey skills, experience + tasks will include:\\n\\nIn-depth XTM (Cross-Connect Transport Module) and DWDM (Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing) optical network systems expertise.\\n\\t\\nManaging / optimizing transport networks, ensuring high performance, reliability, and evaluating the impact of service cessation on network operations and infrastructure.\\n\\t\\nDesigning, implementing + maintaining DWDM and XTM network systems for robust data transmission.\\n\\t\\nMonitoring network performance, troubleshooting + resolving transport networks issues.\\n\\t\\nDefining network requirements + creating technical documentation including network design layouts + operational procedures.\\n\\t\\nNetwork monitoring, network management + technical support
