Project Manager needed with active SC Security Clearance and Banking Payments project experience. 6 Month Contract based in London (Hybrid).
Paying up to £(Apply online only)/day (Inside IR35). Start ideally in Jan/Feb 2026.
Hybrid Working - 3 days/week remote (WFH), and 2 days/week working on-site in the London office.
A chance to work with a leading global IT and Digital transformation business specialising in delivering large-scale Government projects.
Key experience + tasks will include:
- Must hold active SC Security Clearance that has been in use on a project within the past 12 months.
- Project Manager with strong Banking and Payments project delivery experience.
- Project Context: merging divisions across Wholesale, Digital and Retail payments.
- Proven experience of delivering complex projects to agreed time, cost and quality parameters, including managing multiple dependencies.
- Key Tasks include: defining pragmatic PM delivery methodology, completing 2026 project planning + maintaining 'in-flight' project delivery priorities, project control, reporting, managing risks / dependencies, and incorporating lessons learned.
- Managing RAID items, monitoring project progress against plan, proactively tracking key deliverables, and taking timely corrective action where necessary.
- Solid track record of successful project delivery throughout the entire project lifecycle, including project planning, and RAID management.
- Implementing agreed project quality assurance, change control, and configuration management processes.
- Excellent stakeholder management, including the ability to persuade, influence and collaborate with key stakeholders up to senior management level, and build constructive working relationships.
- Strong time management skills, including the ability to set priorities, and deliver to tight deadlines.
- Programme Management qualification preferred (e.g. Prince2, APMP, PMP, MSP)
