GitHub Administrator (SC Cleared) Leeds (Hybrid) 6 Month Contract £(Apply online only)/day (Inside IR35) GitHub Administrator needed with active SC Security Clearance. 6 Month Contract based in Leeds (Hybrid). Start Oct/Nov 2026. Hybrid Working - working from home with occasional travel to the Leeds office - typically once/twice a month. Paying up to £(Apply online only)/day (Inside IR35). A chance to work with a leading global IT transformation on a large-scale Government project: GitHub Administrator with Automation experienced to provide administrative support and help improve the scalability of the GitHub operating model. Hands-on experience administering GitHub Enterprise + GitHub Enterprise Cloud + day-to-day GitHub administration support across multiple GitHub organisations. Addressing existing GitHub administration + on-boarding backlog and identifying opportunities to automate manual processes. GitHub Enterprise administration, access management, user access controls, onboarding, repositories, workflow automation, governance + Technology Radar standards. Configuring / maintaining GitHub organisation and enterprise-level settings, policies + permissions. Key tasks will involve clearing the existing backlog, with a focus on stabilising the current administration process and recommending sustainable improvements. Support integration with enterprise identity platforms such as Microsoft Entra ID / SSO, GitHub REST, GraphQL APIs for administration and automation. Scripting skills: PowerShell, Python, Bash. Advantageous: SCIM based user provisioning, GitHub Enterprise security capabilities, Enterprise Managed Users, SAML SSO, Audit logs, GitHub Advanced Security, Rulesets + organisation policies, IaC, Terraform. Active SC Security Clearance is mandatory for this role
