Data Engineer needed with strong Palantir Foundry experience. Permanent position based in Leeds (Hybrid). Start ASAP in September/October 2026. Working remotely from home (WFH), with occasional travel into the office in Leeds. A chance to work with a leading global IT transformation on large-scale Government projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Designing and building scalable data pipelines, semantic models, and data products.
- Working closely with data scientists, data analysts, product teams, and stakeholders to deliver robust, production-grade data foundations that support analytics, automation, and operational decision making.
- Designing, developing, and maintaining end-to-end data pipelines using Palantir Foundry (Pipeline Builder, Code Repositories, Data Lineage, Ontology, Workshop, Quiver).
- Implementing batch, incremental, and streaming ETL/ELT workflows with reusable, production-ready components.
- Data modelling, schema design, building data products, semantic layers, metadata management, and governance.
- Designing and maintaining Foundry ontologies, including object types, link types, property types, and semantic relationships.
- Supporting Foundry Workshop apps, dashboards, and end-user analytical experiences.
- Implementing automated testing, CI/CD patterns, and deployment best practices for Foundry-based data assets.
Technical Environment: Data Engineering, Palantir Foundry, Python, SQL, PySpark, Spark SQL, Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), CI/CD, Git based workflows.
