Java Developer (SC + NPPV Cleared) 6 Month Contract Birmingham (Hybrid) £500/day (Outside IR35) Java Developer needed with active SC and NPPV3 Security Clearance and Government / Public Sector project experience. 6 Month Rolling Contract in Birmingham (Hybrid). Hybrid Working – 2 days/week working on-site in Birmingham + 3 days/week working remotely from home (WFH). Start ASAP in May/June 2025. A chance to work with a leading global Digital transformation business working on large-scale Government / Public Sector projects. Key experience + tasks will include: Java Developer with in-depth experience of Java development for large-scale Spring based projects. Developing Java solutions for Microservices, messaging web services + distributed systems. Web Services, SOAP, RESTful + Docker Containerisation. Supporting live systems and diagnosing incidents. Connecting processes to several systems with message brokers like ActiveMQ. Continuous Integration methodologies -eg- Maven, Jenkins, GIT, SonarQube + Stash Repository. Testing frameworks -eg- Mockito, JUnit, JMock, Powermock, DBUnit + TestContainers. AWS services including: EC2, RDS, S3, Route53, SQS, DynamoDB, KMS + Cloudwatch.
