Key experience + tasks will include:
- Java Developer with in-depth experience of Java development for large-scale Spring based projects.
- Developing Java solutions for Microservices, messaging web services + distributed systems.
- Web Services, SOAP, RESTful + Docker Containerisation.
- Supporting live systems and diagnosing incidents.
- Connecting processes to several systems with message brokers like ActiveMQ.
- Continuous Integration methodologies - eg - Maven, Jenkins, GIT, SonarQube + Stash Repository.
- Testing frameworks - eg - Mockito, JUnit, JMock, Powermock, DBUnit + TestContainers.
- AWS services including: EC2, RDS, S3, Route53, SQS, DynamoDB, KMS + Cloudwatch.
- Agile development methods: Scrum, BDD, TDD, Kanban.
Full Tech Stack: Java 17+, Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Spring Integration, Spring Batch, Microservices, Quartz, SQL Database (PostgreSQL), JPA (Hibernate), REST, SOAP Web Services, Messaging (ActiveMQ), Maven, Junit, Jenkins, AWS Cloud hosting and its components, Postgres/Aurora, Bootstrap, Docker, TDD, Agile (Scrum), Jaspersoft, Spring extension projects (Data, Cloud, Batch, Security), Angular.
Advantageous skills: AWS DevOps, Spring Cloud, Postfix, Grafana/Prometheus monitoring, Linux, Atlassian, PostgreSQL open-source DB systems.
