Strong hands on experience of Microsoft Fabric for designing + building secure, scalable Data Engineering solutions. Experience of core MS Fabric features including: OneLake, Lakehouses, Warehouses, Data Pipelines, Dataflows, Gen2, Notebooks, Eventstreams + Eventhouses. Using SQL, T-SQL, Spark SQL, PySpark + Python for data ingestion, data transformation, data optimisation, data modelling, and converting structured/unstructured source data into validatd Delta tables. Using Power BI for semantic models, data preparation + data performance. Integrating 3rd party APIs and a range of structured and unstructured data sources into Microsoft Fabric, including working with external suppliers + Microsoft partners. Experience of migrating from legacy data solutions, or helping to establish new Data Engineering solutions.
