Start ASAP in July/August 2026.
The vast majority of the work is expected to be remote.
However, there may be occasional travel to UK customer sites including - Wokingham, Corsham, Farnborough + Warwick.
Working with a global IT Consultancy supporting a leading Telecoms end client: Strong hands-on experience of: F5, Zscaler + Palo Alto IT security technologies, including Firewalls + Network Security.
Technical Ownership of Customer Security infrastructure estate, processes, procedures, documentation + life cycle management.
Acting as technical point of contact + escalation for Security related changes, modifications + projects for firewall rule bases.
Providing technical support, Change management, for hard physical changes + soft remote changes, customer inventory management, hardware software, EOL.
Technical point of contact for vendor support for security infrastructure incidents.
Design of customer networks including the support of High Level design (HLD) and Low Level design (LLD).
Advantageous
Skills: Checkpoint, Juniper, Bluecoat, Cisco Network Solutions, Cisco IPT / Qo S / 802.1x / Inflobox DNS, Switches, Wireless, VPN (ipsec, SSL VPN, DMVPN, WAN Routing Protocols.
Telecoms industry experience preferred.
