A chance to work with a leading global IT transformation on a large-scale Government project: GitHub Administrator with Automation experienced to provide administrative support and help improve the scalability of the GitHub operating model. Hands-on experience administering GitHub Enterprise GitHub Enterprise Cloud day-to-day GitHub administration support across multiple GitHub organisations.
Addressing existing GitHub administration on-boarding backlog and identifying opportunities to automate manual processes. GitHub Enterprise administration, access management, user access controls, onboarding, repositories, workflow automation, governance Technology Radar standards. Configuring / maintaining GitHub organisation and enterprise-level settings, policies permissions. Key tasks will involve clearing the existing backlog, with a focus on stabilising the current administration process and recommending sustainable improvements.
Support integration with enterprise identity platforms such as Microsoft Entra ID / SSO, GitHub REST, GraphQL APIs for administration and automation. Scripting skills: PowerShell, Python, Bash. Advantageous: SCIM based user provisioning, GitHub Enterprise security capabilities, Enterprise Managed Users, SAML SSO, Audit logs, GitHub Advanced Security, Rulesets organisation policies, IaC, Terraform. Active SC Security Clearance is mandatory for this role.
