About the job

We are seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer with expertise in Palantir Foundry to lead high-impact data and AI initiatives for top insurance clients. This role blends deep technical engineering with strategic client engagement and is ideal for those who want to build and deploy solutions, not just advise. You\’ll have the autonomy to architect and iterate on solutions that directly impact client operations, seeing results in real time. You will guide teams to deliver scalable, intuitive solutions while thriving in a dynamic, multi-project environment where initiative and ownership are key.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor engineers to deliver end-to-end Palantir Foundry solutions.
  • Engage directly with clients to understand business needs and translate them into actionable technical designs.
  • Design, build, and deploy scalable data pipelines, applications, and AI workflows using Palantir Foundry and modern technologies.
  • Drive technical excellence through code reviews, best practices, and continuous improvement.
  • Own delivery from architecture to deployment, ensuring quality and timely execution.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience with Palantir Foundry and AIP
  • Up to 5 years of experience writing data transformation and application code, particularly in Python and TypeScript/JavaScript
  • Experience with Spark and big data technology
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Ability to lead teams and mentor engineers while remaining hands-on
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically about complex technical challenges
  • Comfortable working across multiple projects in fast-paced environments

Nice to have

  • Experience working with LLMs and LangChain
  • Experience with client-facing integration, implementation engineering, or solution architecture roles in B2B software product companies
  • Experience within the financial services industry
