Overview
We are looking for a Manager who thrives on solving complex challenges, drawing on strong industry expertise to deliver practical and impactful solutions. The ideal candidate is a clear and confident communicator, able to engage effectively with colleagues at all levels. You will bring a deep understanding of the commercial insurance landscape—including reinsurance and delegated authority—across the full value chain, from underwriting and risk engineering to distribution, product design, policy administration, and claims.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing accounts, projects and/or workstreams with the ability to articulate the interplay between business and technology processes across an organisation.
- Conducting and reviewing detailed analysis to guide the decision‑making process that supports innovative and pragmatic solutions.
- Mentoring consultants to increase industry specific knowledge and practical experiences across London market, UK Insurance and Reinsurance transformation – as well as encouraging the sharing of expertise with the internal UK team and wider.
- Providing direction and thought leadership by managing market and trend analyses to drive business development and strategic opportunities for growth.
- Demonstrating strong industry expertise by proactively identifying and recommending innovative, tailored solutions that meet each client’s unique needs.
- Driving opportunities for technological and business improvements.
Job Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in UK Insurance / London Market / Reinsurance / Insurtech or consultancy firm with exposure to Insurance / Reinsurance clients.
- Proven use of project management and effective change management skills to plan and lead work streams through all phases of the project lifecycle ensuring high quality deliverables by exhibiting impactful team management strategies.
- Hands‑on experience in target operating model and process design & development.
- Exceptional quantitative and qualitative skills to identify complex problems, consider them analytically and conceptualise solutions.
- Highly developed communication, presentation and facilitation skills which enable you to effectively manage stakeholders and build long‑term relationships with clients.
- Track record of development of new topics and various business initiatives—utilising your team’s skills to expand product and service offering.
- Deep understanding and curiosity of key technology platforms and solutions used in the insurance sector.
- Bachelor’s degree level and/or equivalent experience. An advanced degree (MA, MSc or MBA) and/or additional qualifications would be a bonus.
