You will analyse current-state operating models, processes, and technology landscapes, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, strengthen controls, improve customer outcomes, and drive overall business performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the analysis activities across transformation initiatives covering areas such as coverholder onboarding and renewals, Delegated Authority governance, binder lifecycle management, bordereaux oversight, underwriting operations and operational excellence.
  • Facilitate workshops, gather requirements and translate business needs into practical and actionable solutions that support client objectives and strategic priorities.
  • Contribute to proposition development, thought leadership and market research activities, helping to identify emerging trends, industry challenges and opportunities for innovation within the insurance market.
  • Support technology-enabled transformation initiatives, including workflow optimisation, data transformation, automation and emerging AI-driven solutions, working closely with business and technology stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Proven work experience within a London Market insurer, Lloyd’s syndicate, MGA, broker, Insurtech or consultancy firm supporting insurance clients.
  • Demonstrable experience supporting business transformation, process optimisation, operating model design or technology change initiatives within the insurance sector.
  • Confident operating across both business and technology discussions with the ability to bridge the gap between operational stakeholders and delivery teams.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills to structure complex challenges, identify root causes and develop practical recommendations.
  • Highly developed communication, presentation and facilitation skills to enable you to engage effectively with stakeholders across underwriting, operations, compliance, technology and executive teams.
  • Curious mindset about how technology, data, automation and AI can improve insurance operations and client outcomes.
  • Experience working with leading Delegated Authority and London Market technology platforms such as VIPR, Watertrace, DCOM, Velonetic, Distribind, AdvantageGo or similar solutions would be advantageous.
