Requirements

  • Experience in requirements capture, management and analysis.
  • Systems integration experience.
  • Verification and validation experience.
  • Track record of successful delivery of systems engineering documentation.
  • Knowledge of supporting toolsets such as DOORS, JAMA, JIRA, Enterprise Architect, Cameo Systems Modeller, Rhapsody, MATLAB, and Simulink.
  • Preferred experience with PYRAMID and modular open systems architecture.
  • Preferred experience developing avionics and mission systems.
  • Preferred strong understanding of modular open standards principles.
  • Preferred model-based systems engineering experience.
  • Only Sole UK National candidates who are eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Guide the scope and direction of engineering projects.
  • Deliver technical consultancy expertise across a variety of customer projects, from air to sub-surface.
  • Support systems engineering activity across the design lifecycle.
  • Develop proposals and statements of work.
  • Engage with customer representatives to identify opportunities and support delivery.
  • Attend internal management and strategy meetings.
  • Act as a technical authority and mentor to early career engineers.
  • Guide junior engineers in project delivery where needed.
  • Communicate with external stakeholders at a high level and feed information back into the business.
