What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Developing, specifying, and writing comprehensive test cases for ANSYS CFD software, ensuring thorough coverage of product requirements.
  • Creating, modifying, and updating existing tests, as well as writing and maintaining test scripts for both manual and automated testing environments.
  • Executing functional, application, regression, and performance testing to validate software quality and reliability.
  • Investigating and analyzing potential causes of problems, collaborating with technical specialists to resolve product issues.
  • Creating detailed test plans and participating actively in defect management and testing metrics tracking.
  • Applying standard techniques and procedures in compliance with Synopsys’ development and testing processes, maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Working across a variety of computing environments, including Windows, Linux, and high-performance computing platforms.
  • Assisting with validation and verification studies, contributing to continuous improvement of the software.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Chemical Engineering (or related field) with 2 years of relevant experience, or MS with no experience required.
  • Solid understanding of numerical methods and algorithms commonly used in CFD.
  • Experience using CFD software to solve engineering problems.
  • Proficiency in software testing and verification, preferably in a large-scale commercial environment.
  • Strong computing skills, including experience with scripting languages such as Python, and familiarity with both Windows and Linux platforms.
