You Are: You are a Hardware Support Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in test and validation engineering, particularly within the hardware and software co-verification domain. You are adaptable, capable of working both independently and as part of a collaborative team, and are willing to travel both domestically and internationally to support customer sites.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Installing Synopsys hardware at various customer sites, both domestically and internationally.
  • Collaborating with hardware engineering and manufacturing teams to analyze potential hardware failures and define corrective actions.
  • Maintaining accurate data on all hardware activities and providing periodic reports to management.
  • Working closely with manufacturing teams to review the production process, ensuring superior quality of Synopsys hardware.
  • Integrating boards into complete systems by preparing chassis, mounting mechanical parts on electronic boards, and wiring cabling.
  • Providing technical support and guidance to customers to enhance the usability and adoption of Synopsys products.

What You’ll Need:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of related experience in test and validation engineering.
  • Proficiency with Linux environments and scripting languages such as bash and tcsh is a significant advantage. Alternatively, you should be willing to invest time in learning Linux while on the job.
  • Experience with hardware installation and maintenance at customer sites.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve hardware issues.
  • Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally.
