Responsibilities
- Provide a high‑quality, patient‑centric service as part of a 24/7 Biomedical Science team
- Work alone or together with Associate Practitioners and Medical Laboratory Assistant colleagues
- Operate at the Essential Services laboratory at Musgrove Park Hospital and at the off‑site SPS Hub laboratory in Taunton
- Apply LEAN principles to workflow and maintain state‑of‑the‑art equipment standards
- Collaborate closely with clinical colleagues to support NHS Trust and primary care testing
- Mentor colleagues and share knowledge within the team
Qualifications
- HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist
- Expertise in Haematology and Blood Transfusion
- Willingness to work full‑time permanent (part‑time considered)
- Ability to work on‑site (Musgrove Park Hospital) and off‑site (Taunton Hub)
