We are looking for a QA Technician with experience in geospatial analysis to support our team for a 3-month full-time contract, with the possibility of extension. This role involves analyzing over-ocean optical, SAR, and possibly hyperspectral imagery to ensure high-quality data for our AI/ML models. The job requires strong attention to detail and involves repetitive tasks to maintain accuracy. Your work will directly impact our model performance and product quality.
Responsibilities
- Review and analyze remote sensing imagery for quality assurance
- Identify and correct errors or inconsistencies in imagery data
- Work with AI/ML teams to ensure data quality meets model requirements
- Follow standard procedures for image processing and validation
- Document findings and communicate any issues clearly
Qualifications
- STEM degree (e.g., Remote Sensing, GIS, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science) – must have
- Experience with AI/ML data annotation or image labeling – nice-to-have
- Familiarity with GIS tools (e.g., QGIS, ArcGIS) or remote sensing software – nice-to-have
- Knowledge of SAR and hyperspectral imagery – nice-to-have
- Attention to detail – Ability to perform repetitive tasks with high accuracy
- Technical background – experience with remote sensing, GIS, or geospatial analysis
- Problem-solving skills – Ability to identify and fix data inconsistencies
