THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly technical and executionâdriven Technical Product Owner to serve as the "engine room" of our platform. In this role, you will translate highâlevel product strategy into clear, actionable, and technically sound work for engineering teams. You will bridge complex legacy ERP architectures (SAP S/4HANA, ECC) with modern, cloudânative, AIâdriven workflows across the Syniti Knowledge Platform. This role goes far beyond writing tickets - we are looking for someone who uses AI for deep research, builds mockup screens to define user journeys, and ensures the creation of the "Golden Record" through seamless endâtoâend integration across cataloging, migration, quality, and governance.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Product Ownership & Agile Execution: Lead 2â3 scrum teams by owning and prioritizing the backlog for key SKP capabilities (Migrate, Replicate, Drive, Orchestrate). Run high-impact backlog grooming, sprint planning, and estimation sessions.
- Modern Requirement Engineering: Translate strategy into crisp Epics and User Stories. Use AI-driven tools to accelerate documentation, explore ERP integration patterns, and generate edge-case test scenarios.
- UX & Workflow Prototyping: Design mockups and wireframes (Figma, v0, Miro) to visualize data journeys. Ensure that both Data Stewards and Developers experience intuitive, worldâclass workflows within SKP.
- Lifecycle Integration: Partner with Architecture and Engineering to define functional and nonâfunctional requirements (scalability, security). Ensure seamless integration across the entire data lifecycle to eliminate duplication and unlock full platform value.
- Quality & Acceptance: Collaborate with the PXQ team to define "What Good Looks Like." Act as the final validation gate to ensure features meet enterprise standards and align with realâworld user behavior.
- Operational Feedback Loop: Engage with Support and Customer Success to funnel production learnings into the backlog, ensuring continuous improvement based on real customer usage.
WHAT IT TAKES
- The Technical Veteran: 5+ years as a Product Owner or Business Analyst working on enterprise data products. Strong understanding of data integration, replication, APIs, and cloud-native architectures (AWS/Azure).
- The ERP Expert: Deep experience with SAP ecosystems and large-scale transformation programs. Understanding of MDM, Data Quality, and Governance "plumbing." Experience with SAP MDG or Informatica is a major plus.
- The Modern Builder: An AI-native thinker who uses LLMs to enhance productivity and research. Prefers mockups over long documents and thrives in visual communication.
- The Agile Leader: CSPO-certified with demonstrated ability to manage risks, dependencies, and scope changes across distributed, multi-timeâzone teams.
- The Academic: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related practical experience.
- The Communicator: Able to clearly articulate complex data and replication logic to business users while also explaining product vision to engineering teams.
Be fully aligned with our core values:
- Think Big: Be courageous and bold. Aspire to greatness. Relentlessly pursue market innovation. Set the standard by which others follow. Create solutions that have a meaningful impact. Solve the challenges our customers donât know they have.
- Be Curious: Be a lifelong learner. Seek out new ideas to serve customers. Understand our competition and the world. Be permanently dissatisfied with the status quo. Challenge preconceptions. Focus on the future rather than yesterday.

- Stronger Together: Respect, trust and look out for each other. Celebrate diverse perspectives. Listen. Build connections and belonging. Act with integrity. Give back. One Syniti family.
Key Skills
- Visionary Leadership: Ability to maintain a clear product vision, define objectives, and mentor teams toward business goals.
- Advanced Governance Concepts: Strong command of data management and governance principles, including hierarchy and survivorship rules.
- AI/ML Application: Experience using AI/ML tools for documentation automation, market trend analysis, and optimization of dataâmatching or dataâcleansing logic.
- Visual Communication: Skilled at producing wireframes and process flows to ensure UX alignment.
- Technical Storyboarding: Ability to write precise user stories and acceptance criteria with zero ambiguity.
- Relationship Orchestration: Strong interpersonal skills to influence stakeholders and drive collaborative engagement.
