This is an exciting opportunity for a natural leader who seeks to influence, innovate, and protect. You will be the go-to expert in process safety, guiding our teams and ensuring our risk assessment methodologies are robust, up-to-date, and compliant with both legislation and corporate policies.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and conduct comprehensive process risk assessments
- Provide technical expertise in COMAH compliance and risk management
- Supervise and mentor team members in risk assessment practices
- Develop and improve existing safety procedures and systems
- Manage projects related to process safety improvements
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Analyze and communicate complex safety data to various audiences
- Evaluate and implement new safety methodologies
- A Degree or equivalent in a relevant technical area
- 8+ years' experience in chemical industry
- Expert knowledge of process risk assessments
- In-depth understanding of COMAH legislation
- Strong knowledge of societal risk and human factors
- Proven ability to interpret technical and hazard data
- Experience in translating legislative requirements
- Excellent project management skills
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
