Job Description

We seek a Sustainability Expert to drive environmental impact strategies in agriculture. The role focuses on farm-level sustainability assessments and implementing solutions to reduce agricultural environmental footprint.

Responsibilities

  • Lead farm-level assessments focusing on climate impact, water management, and carbon sequestration
  • Implement strategies to reduce environmental footprint
  • Use Cool Farm Tool and advanced modeling for data analysis
  • Conduct life cycle assessments for resource efficiency
  • Benchmark agricultural practices
  • Simulate environmental impact scenarios
  • Develop biodiversity impact models
  • Evaluate conservation evidence
  • Guide business units in sustainability assessments
  • Partner with marketing and R&D teams
  • Align environmental goals with business objectives
  • Monitor and integrate emerging sustainability trends
  • Create data-driven reports and presentations

  • 5+ years of experience in agricultural sustainability assessments
  • PhD or Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences, Agronomy, or related discipline
  • Global corporate experience supporting regional businesses
  • Proven track record in climate, water, and biodiversity initiatives
  • Mastery of environmental analysis tools (Cool Farm Tool, Roth-C model)
  • Life Cycle Assessment expertise at farm level
  • Advanced knowledge of agricultural emissions modeling
  • Deep understanding of agricultural emissions and mitigation strategies
  • Expertise in carbon sequestration methodologies
  • Knowledge of sustainable farming practices optimization and proficiency in environmental certification standards
  • Demonstrated global stakeholder management abilities
  • Attention to quality and detail and solid analytical skills and pragmatic mindset
  • Continuous improvement mindset and ability to challenge the status quo
  • Fluent oral and written communications skills in English
