This is an exciting opportunity for a natural leader who seeks to influence, innovate, and protect. You will be the go-to expert in process safety, guiding our teams and ensuring our risk assessment methodologies are robust, up-to-date, and compliant with both legislation and corporate policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and conduct comprehensive process risk assessments
  • Provide technical expertise in COMAH compliance and risk management
  • Supervise and mentor team members in risk assessment practices
  • Develop and improve existing safety procedures and systems
  • Manage projects related to process safety improvements
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Analyze and communicate complex safety data to various audiences
  • Evaluate and implement new safety methodologies
Qualifications
  • A Degree or equivalent in a relevant technical area
  • 8+ years' experience in chemical industry
  • Expert knowledge of process risk assessments
  • In-depth understanding of COMAH legislation
  • Strong knowledge of societal risk and human factors
  • Proven ability to interpret technical and hazard data
  • Experience in translating legislative requirements
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities
