We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Materials Planner to join our amazing team. In this role, you will oversee all supply chain activities, to maintain a balanced schedule, exceeding business expectations through meticulous updates to commercial systems for accurate financial accounts and real-time business visibility.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring all components for manufacture are available in a timely manner to support production which includes ordering raw materials, checking current stock levels and predicting future requirements.
- Proactively identifying & addressing potential risks to materials planning, such as capacity constraints, resource shortages or scheduling bottlenecks.
- Carrying out monthly stock checks for an asset or group of assets ensuring accurate inventory records.
- Being the first point of contact for suppliers.
- Resolving invoice discrepancies and ensuring full Financial Compliance.
- Printing of waste & final product labels.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a Planning or Supply Chain environment.
- Ideally SAP/MRP & APO knowledge.
- Be able to liaise & influence at all levels.
- Strong skills in time management and prioritization.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration across functions.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
- Diligent with good attention to detail.
