Job Description

We are seeking a Business Support Administrator to provide proactive and comprehensive administrative support that enables Jealott’s Hill functions and teams to effectively implement and maintain workplace programs and compliance initiatives. The successful candidate will serve as the information hub for documentation, record-keeping, and communication, ensuring accurate data management and timely reporting of metrics.

Business Support Activities
- Supports the Jealott’s Hill site by creating and maintaining employee profiles on all HSE training and compliance applications, ensuring accuracy through regular system checks and stakeholder engagement.
- Prepares and distributes reports from systems to internal stakeholders
- Maintains Infrastructure Teams SharePoint pages
- Accurately maintain centralised documentation, records and filing systems
- Raise purchase orders within agreed timeframes
- Review incoming invoices, ensuring satisfactory delivery of goods/services prior to approval.
- Assists with Business Support Team projects to continuously improve service provided to the Jealott’s Hill site.
HSE Support
- Coordinates the annual HSE training program through efficient scheduling of courses, ensuring high levels of participation and accurate recording.
- Coordinates procedures for annual servicing of HSE equipment and maintains accurate documentation.
- Ensures all First Aid kits are replenished, as required
- Maintains inventory of HSE equipment
Event & Initiative Support
- Supports large-scale events, including booking venues, transport and catering, keeping accurate records and adhering to departmental standards.
- Coordinates Display Screen Equipment Prescription Glasses and Safety Glasses program, ensuring adherence to policy requirements.

You Will Be a Great Fit If You Have
- 3 years’ experience within a multi-disciplined office environment
- GCSE English or equivalent and able to write articles, minutes and reports
- Good keyboard skills
- 2 years of experience using Microsoft Office applications – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint
- Experience using SAP
- Experience in meeting and events co-ordination and arrangements
- Experience in purchasing processes and systems
- Ability to meet deadlines, handle pressure and prioritise a diverse workload
- A team player, but also self-motivated and able to work independently
- Excellent planning and organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
