Join Syngenta as a Formulation Manufacturing Technician and become an integral part of our Manufacturing Team. In this dynamic role, you will operate specialized plant equipment to meet and exceed our Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) standards while achieving production targets. Your expertise in chemical plant operations and commitment to safety will be crucial in maintaining our world-class manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate premix/milling and formulation workstations to meet production plans and quality standards
- Ensure material availability for continuous plant manufacture
- Perform first-line engineering maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency
- Support annual shutdown engineering maintenance programs
- Record and analyze manufacturing and engineering data, implementing corrective actions as needed
- Conduct formal and informal monitoring of plant equipment, initiating improvements
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and adapt to ongoing changes
- Perform AT-Line Laboratory analysis and testing of final products
Qualifications:
- Understanding of chemical production plant operations and HSEQ standards is an advantage
- Experience in multi-product production within Just-In-Time principles
- Proficiency in data recording, analysis, and corrective action implementation
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Competence in computer systems and relevant software
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
- Flexibility for shift work and adaptability to changing priorities
