Missie
Voor een functie bij onze klant in de chemie zoeken we een ervaren E&I Designer die mee zijn schouders wil zetten onder diverse technische projecten.
Binnen het engineering team ben je verantwoordelijk voor het elektrisch en instrumentatie ontwerp van chemische installaties, van renovaties en uitbreidingen tot volledig nieuwe projecten.
Je werkt nauw samen met projectengineers, projectmanagers en andere afdelingen, en rapporteert aan de Lead Designer.
Je bent niet alleen aan de tekentafel te vinden: je trekt regelmatig de werf op om opmetingen te doen en bestaande installaties grondig onder de loep te nemen.
Zo speel je een sleutelrol in het analyseren, optimaliseren en realiseren van zowel nieuwe als bestaande installaties.
- Verantwoordelijkheden
- Je verzorgt het elektrisch en instrumentatie ontwerp van projecten rond chemische installaties (renovatie, uitbreiding, nieuwe installaties)
- Je werkt elektrische schema’s uit en past ze aan in EPLAN
- Je voert opmetingen uit op site en verifieert of corrigeert bestaande schema’s
- Je maakt schetsen en high-level designs tijdens het basic design
- Je vertaalt documentatie van aangekochte toestellen of installaties naar elektrische schema’s conform de standaard
- Je werkt gedetailleerde schema’s uit tijdens het detailed design
- Je stelt kabel-, klemmen-, instrumentatie- en verbruikerslijsten op en houdt ze up-to-date
- Je analyseert bestaande installaties en elektrische kasten
- Je leidt review-sessies Je maakt kabelberekeningen en bepaalt de nodige selectiviteit binnen een elektrische kring
- Je denkt actief mee over het optimaliseren van technische oplossingen

- Je hebt een bachelor Elektromechanica, Energietechnologie, Elektrotechniek of gelijkwaardig door ervaring
- Je hebt minstens 4 à 5 jaar ervaring als Electrical/E&I Designer
- Je hebt sterke kennis van elektrische systemen en componenten en begrijpt elektrische- en PLC-circuits
- Je hebt gedegen ervaring in het ontwikkelen van elektrische tekeningen; sterke kennis van EPLAN is een must, inclusief het opstellen en beheren van de EPLAN-bibliotheek
- Je kan een P&ID vlot lezen en interpreteren
- Je hebt kennis van instrumentatie en procesinstallaties
- Ervaring binnen een chemische of industriële omgeving is een sterke troef
- Je werkt vlot met courante Office-toepassingen
- Je communiceert vlot, zowel verbaal als schriftelijk, in het Nederlands en het Engels
- Kennis van CANECO en basiskennis van het AREI zijn een pluspunt
- Je bent hands‑on ingesteld en bereid om regelmatig op site te werken
- Je bent veiligheidsbewust en past de veiligheidsregels strikt toe
- Je werkt accuraat, nauwkeurig en respecteert vooropgestelde deadlines
- Je werkt zelfstandig, maar bent evengoed een teamplayer met een praktische, oplossingsgerichte mindset
