We are seeking applicants for a Management Accountant to join our team. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, curious, and adaptable. The Management Accountant will play an essential role in helping to build out reporting, processes, and controls.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage AR and AP processes including supplier payments and customer invoicing
- Post journal entries into Xero for various month-end adjustments
- Manage intercompany recharges and billing
- Complete all bank reconciliations and manage working capital position
- Prepare monthly management accounts with detailed commentary and variance analysis
- Build out balance sheet reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts
- Assist in Financial Reporting for Investor relations
- Assist in Forecasting and Budgeting process
- Develop controls and processes
- Assist the Finance Manager with various ad hoc internal and external reports as required
- Newly Qualified Accountant or 1-2 years post qualification experience (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Management Accounts experience
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills and commercial acumen
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with ability to create and manipulate reports
- Self-starter: knows what needs to be done and can build a plan to deliver
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced rapidly changing business
- Past experience and desire to work as part of a remote/virtual team
- Previous experience in a start-up/scale-up environment
- Experience using Xero
- Experience managing concurrent projects across countries and time zones
- Experience working with multiple currencies and foreign exchange
