Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Yard Duties
- Ensuring vehicles are processed along company pathways for deliveries, collections, marketing, and storage
- Cleaning vehicles as necessary to ensure high-quality images
- Inventorying parts on vehicles and imaging them
- Processing logbooks, document packs, and keys, ensuring safety and GDPR compliance
- Supporting GDPR & Salvage Personal Belonging Team with GDPR compliance & contractual SLAs
- Maintaining quality control to prevent damage to vehicles or parts
- Liaising with customers or drivers during vehicle loading and offloading
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment in your designated area
- Imaging & Grading Duties
- Managing parts inventory of breakers, and imaging and grading panels and parts for sales channels
- Prioritizing vehicles with parts required by premium customers
- Transporting vehicles to designated inventory/image areas using a forklift
- Cleaning vehicles for high-quality imaging
- Inventorying and imaging parts, grading them according to guidelines
- Recording engine videos showing start, run, and exhaust
- Cleaning, tagging, imaging, packing, and storing removed parts
- Processing stock inventory to maximize value for sales or scrap
What you bring:
- A full driving license
- Experience working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to accurately record vehicle damage
- Forklift experience (training provided if needed)
- Teamwork skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Basic IT skills
- Experience or interest in motor vehicles (desirable but not essential)
