We are currently looking for a dedicated Vehicle Dismantler to join our team based at our Head Office on Bentley Moor Lane, Adwick le Street, Doncaster.
Dismantlers are core to our parts recycling process and responsible for the removal of parts, engines, and gearboxes.

Key Areas Of Responsibility
- Dismantling parts in line with job requests, locating the appropriate vehicle, assessing work required, and organizing forklift to move the vehicle from ramp to floor or stand.
- Identifying and locating required parts, removing them without damage, checking quality, model numbers, etc.
- Completing relevant records (job request, log sheet, etc.), marking up, tagging, and bagging each part with stock number and vehicle details, and placing them in the designated area according to standards.
- Labeling each part with engine size, year, make, and model, storing appropriately, and recording on the database.
- Liaising with colleagues (Parts Sales Team, Parts Checkers, other Dismantlers) for advice, information, updates, and problem resolution.
- Accessing database systems to obtain additional information on parts as required.
- Stripping and scrapping vehicles following company standards and procedures.
- Opening vehicles that are deadlocked and locating electronic components such as ECUs, airbags, etc.
- Assisting with export orders as needed.
- Ensuring all paperwork and electronic records are completed accurately and timely.
- Using your own vehicle to complete jobs and drop off parts.
- Providing cover for other duties as required.
What You Bring
- Experience working with cars, including mechanical and body panels.
- Knowledge of checking oils and handling hazardous chemicals.
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Full UK driving license.
- Provision of your own tools.
- Ability to lift and handle heavy weights safely.
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
