We are hiring experienced HGV Class 1 Tramping Drivers to join our expanding fleet. Responsibilities
- Carry out long‑haul driving across the UK, including overnight tramping
- Complete bay‑to‑bay deliveries only, with no manual handling (drop‑and‑go)
- Operate modern, well‑maintained vehicles with confidence in navigation and journey planning
- Comply with all road safety rules, driving hours regulations, and company policies
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects or issues
- Use SNAP accounts and fuel cards to support efficient journeys
- Work consistent tramping schedules with five consecutive shifts (Sunday‑Friday)
Qualifications
- Valid UK C+E (Class 1) driving licence
- Minimum of 2 years’ HGV driving experience
- Clean licence preferred (up to 6 points accepted; no TT, DR or IN endorsements)
- Fluency in English preferred
- Good knowledge of UK road laws, including the Highway Code and drivers' hours regulations
- Right to work in the UK with valid supporting documentation
- Successful completion of pre‑employment checks, including drug and alcohol testing
