Job Description
We are currently recruiting experienced Oncology Nurses to work within the Oncology and Chemotherapy department of a well-established private hospital in Leicester.
The successful candidate will provide high-quality, compassionate and patient-centred care to patients undergoing cancer treatment, including chemotherapy. Responsibilities will include assessing patients, planning and delivering individualised nursing care, safely administering and monitoring chemotherapy treatments, monitoring patients for treatment-related side effects and complications, maintaining accurate clinical records, and working closely with the wider multidisciplinary team.
We are looking for professional, reliable and experienced Oncology Nurses who are confident working in a busy oncology and chemotherapy environment and committed to delivering high standards of patient care.
Requirements
- Current NMC registration
- Previous UK hospital experience required
- Recent Oncology nursing experience required
- Previous chemotherapy experience required
- Experience administering and monitoring chemotherapy treatments
- Previous experience working within an Oncology/Chemotherapy department
- Good knowledge of oncology nursing practices, chemotherapy protocols and patient safety
- Strong clinical, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to recognise and respond appropriately to treatment-related side effects and complications
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centred care
- Right to work in the UK
