We are recruiting an Infrastructure Analyst to join a small infrastructure and networking team supporting a multi-site technology environment. This is a hands-on role combining infrastructure support, troubleshooting, incident resolution and project delivery. You'll work across core networking and virtual infrastructure whilst gradually taking on greater ownership of projects and technical improvements. Hybrid | 3 days in the office | London or Ipswich
Key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting LAN, WLAN, VPN and wider network infrastructure
- Maintaining virtualised server infrastructure
- Troubleshooting infrastructure incidents across multiple platforms
- Monitoring services and identifying recurring issues
- Supporting infrastructure changes, upgrades and improvement projects
- Collaborating with internal technical teams and third-party providers
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date technical documentation
We're looking for someone with solid foundational knowledge of networking and virtualisation, alongside practical experience supporting IT infrastructure. You should be comfortable investigating technical problems independently, working calmly during incidents and communicating clearly and professionally with colleagues and suppliers. Experience with technologies such as Cisco, Meraki, Nutanix, VMware or Hyper-V would be beneficial, but specific vendor experience is less important than a strong understanding of the underlying technology. There will be occasional travel between offices and satellite office locations. The role would particularly suit someone looking to progress into an infrastructure position, or currently at an early to mid Infrastructure Analyst/Engineer level, who is looking for greater technical ownership and project exposure.
