We're looking for an Application Support Engineer to join the development team of a reputable organisation that have been leading in their industry for over 20 years. Play a crucial role in supporting their flagship business application. This will be onsite for 6 months but will eventually be a hybrid role (3 days in-office, 2 days remote). What You’ll Be Doing: * Providing support to the users and teams of the business applications. * Troubleshooting and diagnosing technical issues—no direct client interaction. * Working closely with development teams, presenting insights into potential issues. * Utilising SQL and JavaScript to investigate problems and support issue resolution. * Playing a key role in a brand-new position, designed to free up time for the developers. What We’re Looking For: * Experience in application or technical support (2nd line preferred). * Strong troubleshooting skills and a logical approach to problem-solving. * Knowledge of SQL and JavaScript for diagnosing and assisting with application issues. * Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams to improve system stability. * A proactive mindset—someone who takes ownership of issues and sees them through.
