Position: Production Operative
Location: Milton Keynes
Contract: Permanent opportunity available
Shift Times:
- 6:00 AM β 6:00 PM
- 6:00 PM β 6:00 AM
- Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off (2 days, 2 nights)
- Must be able to work both days and nights.
Breaks: Two 30-minute paid breaks per shift
Pay Rate:
- Β£16.87 per hour (Days & Nights β up to 48 hours)
- Β£25.31 per hour (Overtime)
About the Role
We are recruiting Production Operatives to join a fast-paced manufacturing company in Milton Keynes. Youβll work in a fast-paced, quality-focused environment, supporting production for well-known brands. This role is ideal for reliable, detail-focused individuals who enjoy hands-on work and being part of a strong production team.
Responsibilities as a Production Operative:
- Set up, operate, and monitor lines, conveyors to ensure the production runs smoothly
- Accurately record quality and production data, reporting any non-conformances
- Pack, seal, label, and prepare finished products for dispatch
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
- Clean equipment and work areas to prevent contamination
- Carry out basic machine maintenance and report or troubleshoot minor faults
- Follow all health & safety, food safety, and site procedures at all times
- Work as part of a team to ensure the site is audit-ready
Skills & Experience Required as a Production Operative:
- Previous experience in production and manufacturing desirable
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to work with small components and follow detailed instructions
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work days and nights on a rotating shift pattern
