About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded E-commerce Specialist – Private Label Products to join our client's growing team in Milton Keynes. This is an exciting opportunity for an e-commerce professional to take ownership of the end-to-end management and growth of private-label products across multiple online channels.
Key Responsibilities as an E-commerce Specialist
- Take ownership of the day-to-day development, management and optimisation of our private-label e-commerce presence across our website, Amazon, eBay and B&Q.
- Create, manage and continuously optimise product listings, ensuring titles, bullet points, descriptions, A+ / enhanced content and imagery are accurate, compelling, keyword-rich and on-brand.
- Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices to improve product visibility, discoverability and rankings.
- Support the development and launch of new private-label products across relevant online channels.
- Identify opportunities to improve website and marketplace performance, productivity, conversion and customer experience.
- Develop quarterly and annual sales plans, set targets and support product launch and growth strategies.
- Plan promotional calendars around product launches, seasonal events and commercial opportunities.
- Monitor and analyse sales, conversion, traffic, basket value and other key performance metrics across multiple channels.
- Produce regular performance reports against targets and translate data into clear commercial actions.
- Evaluate campaign effectiveness and ROI, making recommendations to improve performance.
- Monitor competitor pricing, promotions, product ranges and positioning, identifying opportunities and recommending appropriate responses.
- Plan and execute e-commerce campaigns, promotions and deals across relevant channels.
- Manage paid media activity, including Amazon Ads and Google Ads, and monitor performance against agreed objectives.
- Maintain a forward promotional calendar and ensure activity is aligned with wider marketing and commercial plans.
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure a consistent strategy across all digital touchpoints.
- Use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and marketplace analytics tools to identify performance issues, opportunities and areas for testing.
- Manage and monitor website and marketing budgets.
- Act as the main point of contact for private-label products across Amazon, eBay and B&Q.
- Maintain marketplace account health, product compliance and listing standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve listing errors, policy flags and marketplace issues promptly.
- Stay up to date with marketplace algorithms, policies, tools and e-commerce best practices.
- Work closely with the Imports and Operations teams to align stock availability with demand forecasts and promotional plans.
- Support demand forecasting to minimise stock-outs and excess inventory.
- Communicate upcoming promotions, product launches and potential stock risks to relevant teams.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure products, content, stock and promotional activity are aligned.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve e-commerce processes, systems and ways of working.
Essential Skills & Experience
- 2–3+ years' experience in an e-commerce role, ideally with private-label or branded product ownership.
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Seller Central and eBay.
- Experience managing products across multiple online marketplaces.
- Knowledge of Magento or a similar e-commerce CMS.
- Good understanding of SEO, PPC, CRO/testing and e-commerce analytics.
- Experience using GA4 and marketplace analytics tools.
- Familiarity with Amazon Brand Analytics would be advantageous.
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to use data to make informed decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly when managing product content, pricing and data.
- Highly organised, proactive and comfortable working independently.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong ownership mindset with a focus on achieving measurable results.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
