We are seeking a motivated, personable, and highly organised Business Development Support Executive to join a friendly, fast-paced office team in Bedford. This is a phone-based role focused on appointment booking and lead management rather than consultative selling. You will enjoy a varied position with autonomy, while playing a key role in supporting the wider sales and marketing function.

As a Business Development Support Executive, you will be responsible for outbound calling, appointment setting, CRM management, and supporting marketing campaigns and administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct 4–6 hours of outbound telemarketing calls daily (approx. 50 calls / 2 appointments per day)
  • Book qualified appointments for field sales representatives
  • Manage telemarketing administration, including sending catalogues, letters, and sample packs
  • Maintain and update CRM systems, including generating call lists and tracking activity
  • Carry out lead generation and research, identifying key decision-makers and contact details
  • Support email campaigns, follow-ups, and bespoke copywriting
  • Produce regular reports on calls, appointments, and conversion rates
