About the Opportunity
Our client is an established British manufacturer expanding into an exciting new area of bespoke furniture production.
Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Cabinet Maker / Bench Joiner who can bring both practical joinery expertise and confidence working with CAD designs.
This is a hands-on factory-based role where you will play an important part in bringing new products from concept through to finished manufacture.
You will be involved in interpreting designs, producing high-quality furniture, supporting product development and helping improve manufacturing processes.

- What You'll Be Doing
- Manufacturing high-quality bespoke and batch-produced furniture.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings, both hard copy and CAD based.
- Working from existing CAD drawings and making amendments where required.
- Supporting the design and production process from initial concept through to completion.
- Cutting, machining, jointing, assembling and finishing furniture to a high standard.
- Operating woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Supporting prototype development and new product introductions.
- Identifying practical solutions and suggesting improvements to manufacturing processes.
- Maintaining excellent standards of quality, accuracy and finish.
We're Looking For Someone Who Has
- Previous experience as a Cabinet Maker, Bench Joiner, Furniture Maker, Production Joiner or similar manufacturing role.
- A strong background within a factory-based manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
- Recent, practical experience working from CAD drawings.
- Experience using Auto CAD or similar CAD software.
- Strong knowledge of woodworking machinery and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work.
- A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team.

What's On Offer...
