Location:Dunstable
Salary:£45,000 – £55,000 – dependent on experience

Synergy Plus Recruitmentis seeking an experiencedQuality & Compliance Manageron behalf of our client, a leading manufacturer based in Dunstable. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled quality professional to join their Operational Excellence and Compliance Department. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving quality standards, maintaining compliance frameworks, and supporting continuous improvement across the site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of quality professionals to maintain and improve site standards

• Review and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) including SOPs, Work Instructions, and Technical Agreements

• Act as site lead for BRC unannounced audit preparations

• Coordinate HACCP systems and internal audits, ensuring robust corrective actions are implemented

• Manage concessions, non-conformances, customer complaints, pest control visits, and audit schedules

• Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and service providers

• Support the development and launch of new products, ensuring compliance with all quality standards

• Promote a culture of continuous improvement across all departments

About You:

• Proven experience as aQuality & Compliance Managerwithin a manufacturing or food production environment (minimum 5 years)

• Working knowledge of BRCGS, ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 standards

• HACCP Level 3 certified (essential)

• Lead/Internal Auditor trained (desirable)

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, ERP, and Quality software systems

• Excellent problem-solving skills and experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions

• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels

Additional Experience/Qualifications:

• NEBOSH Certification (desirable)

• Experience in delivering and assessing quality-related training

• Strong analytical approach with a high level of attention to detail

• Motivated, proactive, and able to work well under pressure
