Job Description Salary:£47,700 per year Pay increase after 6 months: £53,390 Location:Corby Job Type:Full-time, permanent role Shift Pattern: 6PM to 6AM, 4 days on/4 days off-Nights only About the Role We are seeking a skilled and proactiveMaintenance Engineerto join our state-of-the-artautomated cold storage facility. You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance at heights of up to120ftand in temperatures as low as-23C. This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer experienced inFMCG, automation, or warehouse engineeringto join a cutting-edge operation. Key Responsibilities Maintain and operate critical automated systems including conveyors, cranes, cooling systems, and oxygen reduction systems. Deliverplanned preventative maintenance (PPM)and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime. Work to operational KPIs and supportcontinuous improvementinitiatives. Adhere to safety guidelines and maintenance plans to ensure full compliance. Liaise with suppliers, manage warranty work, and coordinate service visits. Support warehouse operations to maintain efficient logistics and equipment performance. Manage engineering stock, spare parts, and inventory control. Produce clear and timely engineering reports for the Engineering Manager. Identify and implement energy-saving, cost-efficient improvements across the facility. Qualifications
