About the Opportunity
Our client is an established British manufacturer expanding into an exciting new area of bespoke furniture production. You won't just be a number — your skills, ideas and experience will be valued. The business has a genuine family feel, with approachable Directors who work from the same location as the wider team. They believe in collaboration, supporting each other and creating an environment where people can develop and grow.
What You'll Be Doing

- Reading and interpreting technical drawings, both hard copy and CAD based.
- Working from existing CAD drawings and making amendments where required.
- Supporting the design and production process from initial concept through to completion.
- Cutting, machining, jointing, assembling and finishing furniture to a high standard.
- Operating woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Supporting prototype development and new product introductions.
- Identifying practical solutions and suggesting improvements to manufacturing processes.
- Maintaining excellent standards of quality, accuracy and finish.
We're Looking For Someone Who Has:
- Previous experience as a Cabinet Maker, Bench Joiner, Furniture Maker, Production Joiner or similar manufacturing role.
- A strong background within a factory-based manufacturing environment.

- Recent, practical experience working from CAD drawings.
- Experience using AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
- Strong knowledge of woodworking machinery and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work.
- A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team.
This Role Would Suit Someone Who:
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- Takes pride in craftsmanship and quality.
- Is comfortable working in a growing business where processes continue to develop.
- Enjoys problem solving and finding practical solutions.
- Wants to have a genuine influence on how products and processes evolve.
- Values being part of a supportive team rather than just being another employee.

- £35,000 - £40,000 per annum depending on experience.
- Permanent, full-time position.
- Monday to Friday working hours (8:00am - 5:00pm).
