The Role
We are looking for a Yard Operative to join a busy outdoor yard supporting major live events. This is a physical role, working outside in all weather conditions, handling heavy equipment and operating forklifts to prepare loads for site. Due to the location of the site, own transport is required for this role.
Key Duties
- Attend daily 7:30am Toolbox Talks
- Keep the yard clean, safe, and organised
- Load and unload equipment using counterbalance FLT / telehandler
- Strap and secure loads to VOSA standards
- Inspect and maintain equipment
- Complete basic paperwork and follow Health & Safety procedures
Pay & Benefits
- Overtime paid at 1.5x (after 8 hours & weekends)
- Double pay on Bank Holidays
- 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays
- Flexibility required April-September
- Permanent role
Requirements
- Valid FLT / Counterbalance licence (essential)
- Comfortable with heavy lifting and outdoor work
