We are currently recruiting Production Operatives to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Kegworth, Derby. Previous production or manufacturing experience is essential for this position.
As a Production Operative, your duties will include:
- Operating standard production machinery safely and efficiently
- Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet required standards
- Recording quality checks and reporting any issues
- Packing, labelling, and preparing finished goods for dispatch
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
- Following health & safety procedures at all times
- Working as part of a team to meet daily production targets
- Following instructions and maintaining high standards throughout the production process
Requirements
The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous production, warehouse, or manufacturing experience
- Be able to work 12-hour shifts on a 3 on / 3 off rotation
- Be flexible and comfortable working both days and nights
- Have good attention to detail and be able to work at pace
- Be reliable, hardworking, and able to follow instructions
- Be comfortable standing for long periods
- Have a positive attitude and be able to work effectively as part of a team
