Role Focus
- For Franchisors:
- Developing long-term growth and expansion strategies
- Drafting and negotiating Franchise Disclosure Documents (FDDs) and franchise agreements
- Managing IP portfolios and tackling trademark misuse
- Ensuring regulatory compliance and handling commercial litigation
- Resolving franchise disputes through mediation and litigation
- For Franchisees:
- Reviewing and negotiating franchise agreements to protect franchisee interests
- Supporting lease negotiations and real estate matters
- Advising on regulatory compliance, operational obligations, and exit strategies
- Representing clients in complex dispute resolution and litigation
What We’re Looking For
- A franchising solicitor or partner (8+ PQE) with proven client following
- Strong track record representing franchisors, franchisees—or ideally both
- Commercially astute with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Desire to lead and grow a national practice
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
