A highly regarded regional law firm is seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor to join its established Employment team in Northampton at Senior Associate or Partner level. This is an exciting leadership opportunity for an ambitious Employment lawyer who enjoys team management, business development, and helping drive the continued growth of a successful and well-respected department.
The Employment team currently consists of:
- 1 Partner
- 2 Solicitors (including 1 Trainee Solicitor)
The firm is now looking to appoint a senior individual who can work closely alongside the existing Partner to help lead, manage, and develop the team moving forward. The role will involve a mix of high-quality fee earning work alongside strategic responsibilities including:
- Supporting the supervision and development of junior team members
- Assisting with the management and direction of the department
- Business development and networking activities
- Strengthening and growing client relationships
- Contributing to the continued growth of the Employment practice across the region
The caseload will include a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious employment matters for both employers and employees, including:
- Disciplinary and grievance matters
- Unfair dismissal and discrimination claims
- Employment Tribunal matters
- Settlement agreements
- Redundancy and restructuring advice
- Contracts, policies, and procedures
- Corporate support employment work
The firm is keen to speak with technically strong and commercially minded Employment Solicitors with 5+ years’ PQE who are looking for a visible and influential position within a progressive regional practice.
