The Role

As a Disputes Partner, you will lead and grow the firm's Milton Keynes Dispute Resolution offering while collaborating closely with an accomplished national team. The role combines strategic leadership, high-level client engagement, and the opportunity to shape the future direction of the practice locally and nationally. The team's work spans a broad range of commercial disputes, including contract and shareholder disputes, professional negligence, insolvency litigation, and regulatory matters, as well as alternative dispute resolution and mediation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the Dispute Resolution team in Milton Keynes.
  • Advise clients on complex, high-value commercial litigation and dispute matters.
  • Drive business development initiatives and strengthen the firm's regional presence.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the firm's UK offices to deliver seamless, multi-disciplinary service.

About You

You will be an experienced and commercially minded Disputes Partner, or a Legal Director / Senior Associate ready to take that next step into partnership. You'll bring technical excellence, commercial awareness, and the ability to inspire trust in both clients and colleagues. You will bring:

  • At least 8+ years' PQE in commercial litigation or dispute resolution.
  • Experience managing complex cases for corporate and high-net-worth clients.
  • Strong business development and client relationship skills.
